Modular System as Prototype
The roof structure of the New Trade Fair in Hamburg consists of a modular system. It is composed of two main components: a steel truss grid as the "substructure" and a series of wooden barrel shells placed on top of the steel grid.
Modular System as Prototype This modular system enables the creation of a simple and efficient supporting structure for exhibition halls, which can be easily adapted to different hall geometries.
