Klinik Gut St. Moritz – Healthcare in the Alps
The new Klinik Gut in St. Moritz is designed as a state-of-the-art medical facility that integrates a broad spectrum of clinical functions within a compact structure. The three-storey building accommodates emergency care, advanced diagnostic imaging, operating rooms, and inpatient wards, thereby providing comprehensive treatment capacities under one roof. Conceived with a clear architectural order, generous panoramic views, and a façade materiality resonating with its Alpine setting, the clinic establishes a contemporary healthcare environment that is both highly functional and welcoming for patients and visitors alike.

Surgical Precision
The operating rooms of the new Klinik Gut are located on the central treatment floor, together with diagnostic imaging and emergency care. Designed to meet the highest medical standards, they provide a sterile and highly functional environment for complex surgical procedures, while maintaining a clear spatial order and intuitive organisation. The integration of advanced technology is matched by a focus on architectural quality: bright, neutral surfaces and carefully considered lighting conditions contribute to a calm and concentrated atmosphere. In line with the overall concept of the clinic, the operating areas combine technical precision with a sense of clarity and openness, supporting both the efficiency of medical processes and the well-being of patients and staff.

A Site Shaped by Tradition
At the southwestern entrance to St. Moritz, the new Klinik Gut forms part of the historic spa quarter of St. Moritz-Bad. This area, long known for its mineral springs and therapeutic traditions, is shaped by the baroque park of the Bäderzentrum, which has been framed over centuries by landmark buildings such as the Kempinski Hotel and the Heilbad St. Moritz. Within this context, the clinic occupies a designated site that completes the ensemble and strengthens the spatial definition of the park. The new building responds to its prominent position with a compact volume and a clear architectural expression, continuing the history of the place while providing a contemporary medical facility for the region.
