GREEN FACADES

HOME / GREEN FACADES

Plants and landscapes play a vital role in nearly all our architectural endeavors, embodying the seamless integration of nature and design. Urban greenery is not an afterthought but an essential element, incorporated into the concept from the very beginning. Our green facades are a harmonious blend of cutting-edge engineering, sustainable materials, and aesthetic ambition. They redefine the relationship between nature and architecture, creating living structures that contribute to the well-being of both people and the environment.

PIONEERING DESIGN

Through innovative approaches, we have pushed the boundaries of green architecture. The Kö-Bogen II in Düsseldorf exemplifies this vision, featuring Europe’s largest green facade, with over 8 kilometers of meticulously planted hedges. These living walls not only enhance the building’s aesthetic appeal but also provide natural insulation, improve air quality, and contribute to urban biodiversity. By pioneering such designs, we’re reshaping how buildings interact with their surroundings, proving that sustainable innovation and beauty can go hand in hand.

SUSTAINABILITY IN ACTION

Green facades are more than a design statement—they are an active solution to urban challenges like climate change, air pollution, and the heat island effect. They reduce energy consumption, improve microclimates, and foster a stronger connection between people and nature. From large-scale projects to more intimate applications, each green facade is a step toward healthier, greener cities. Our commitment to integrating landscapes into architecture reflects a vision of sustainable urban living, where buildings do not just exist in harmony with nature but actively enhance it.
